This project examines the concept of nature as a reflection of our emotional realms. Working with photography, capturing moments of emotion in nature, the raging waves of the sea, and the hope of the woodland on a bright day. I then began to unpick the feelings evoked by the imagery and work through textiles and materials, intuitively combining fabric, print, and colour. I have created moody textiles for interior spaces that bring the outside in.
